CROWN & THUNDER is a horse racing and stable management game where you build a racing operation from a small stable into a championship contender. Manage individual thoroughbreds, study their strengths, preferences and potential, plan training and recovery, choose races that suit each horse, manage your finances, improve your facilities and develop your stable over multiple seasons. When race day arrives, you ride the horse yourself. Time the break from the starting gate, control pace and stamina, draft behind rivals, fight for position, find openings through traffic and decide when to commit to the final drive. Different horses, distances, surfaces and race conditions can completely change how a race should be ridden. Horses develop their own records and careers as your stable progresses through increasingly competitive races toward the Crown Championship. Breeding, bloodlines, the horse market, staff, facility development and long-term stable management give you reasons to care about what happens on the track, while playable 3D racing means winning still depends on how well you ride.
