Rewind Video

A neighbourhood video store on a rainy night: confetti carpet, humming fluorescent lights, a buzzing neon OPEN sign and wall-to-wall VHS boxes under hanging genre signs. Browse the aisles for a Staff Pick, take it to the counter and watch the checkout play out, the register beeping, the tape clunking into the VCR and the lights dimming, until the curtain rises on the Now Showing stage. Step through the screen and into the movie.
