Storm Paddock

Rain hammers a jungle wildlife park at midnight, where a stalled open-top tour car still burns its headlights against the towering electric fence of Paddock 9. Climb into the driver's seat and watch the cup on the dashboard: each distant thud sends rings across the water, the fence dies with a hiss, and in the next flash of lightning something enormous is looking back at you.
